True American quality is put into Vaughan Bassett’s Dovetail collection. Each piece is perfected to show the natural wood grain. Authentic knots, cracks, and splits are left in the wood just as they were found. Exposed and active dovetail joinery shows the integrity of each piece—just as it was 4,000 years ago by the Pharaohs. Every item in this collection is unique and one-of-a-kind. The reclaimed, rustic styling is from American White Oak solids and veneers. Custom metal hardware was selected to really complete the look of this furniture. Handmade in the USA. For every tree used to make the furniture, Vaughan Bassett donates a tree to the Virginia Department of Forestry to be replaced.
